Since its launch in October 2011, this magazine has gone through a great deal of development and expansion. Up to now we have 165 indie authors as part of this extensive network, and it continues to grow.
Beta Readers
“Supporting Authors One Read At A Time Magazine” is now open to include beta-readers within our network. This is to encourage authors to help one another, as well as to facilitate authors’ reaching out to readers through their work.
Once you join our group page on Facebook, you’ll be able to connect with others. You can post your request and make a connection with a Beta Reader. Our group is an excellent source for feedback and support.
Currently, I am making use of this tool and benefiting from the wonderful critiques I have received regarding my new book Land of Hope. I highly recommend this free service to authors.
Video Book Tours
Again, a wonderful support for those who want to promote their books and products through visual means. Please check the site for full details: how you can make a video with Eri, or publicise your own, at a very small fee which covers the cost. Check out our video-book-tours and browse at samples below or clicked on the links to watch them on YourTube.

The Writer’s Exchange
It’s advisable for all Indie authors to engage in the service of a proofreader, however, hiring a professional editor doesn’t always guarantee that your manuscript is error-free. Errors can crop up and not many of us have the luxury of having copyeditors. What do you do?
The Writers’ Exchange is an informal co-operative that allows you to share a copy of your manuscript with trusted, published members who will proofread it and highlight errors they detect. In return, you agree to offer the same service. As a member of Supporting Authors One Read at a Time, you can freely participate in this mutually beneficial program.
You can reach out to Madeline Sloane who initiated this project or find more details on the magazine.
Our Authors’ Books
All participating authors have their books listed on our Shelfari bookshelves.

I hope I have persuaded you to participate by joining our network. You are welcome to contribute in different ways, either by writing an article or short story, having an advert posted or sharing a review, even finding yourself highlighted, please visit wonderful read of the month or contact Eri Nelson.
Now off you go and leaf through the fabulous Supporting Authors One Read at a Time Magazine.
July 2012 Issue

Wow, there is SO much going on here. I need to take a few hours and learn all about the services, Junying. There are some incredible opportunities here for authors.
Thanks for sharing.
eden
Yes, Eden.
Eri has done a lot of excellent work to make this magazine as it is today. There are a lot of useful services on offer and it’s great to be a part of this
Thanks for sharing it on
I’ve been tempted to join for so long, but I just haven’t had the time to really, really look into things. Like Eden says, “There is so much going on.” Nevertheless, you may one day see me part of this, because it does look very interesting. Meanwhile, I tip my hat to all those who work hard to make this magazine a success.
Natasha, I totally understand. There are so much out there for authors, and we only have so much time. We can spread ourselves too thin.
Thanks for visiting, and I am sure I’ll see more of you in the different SM and groups we find ourselves in
An interesting and helpful magazine for and about authors. I thoroughly enjoyed watching your video interview regarding your upcoming third book, Land of Hope. I felt like I was sitting right next to you! Wonderful.
Keep up all your hard work! Eri did a great job.
xx
Sandra,
How sweet of you, to watch my interview with Eri, and for popping in. Yes, Eri is a wonderful super woman – single-handedly she revamped the magazine and making it better all the time
Hope you’re not too swamped with work, and find time to relax too. It’s always lovely to see you either here, or on Twitter
Catch up soon & take care! xx
This is one great idea and I also know how Eri– with the beautiful smile– and others have worked getting this Mag going.
My internet in rural Thailand is so slow I can’t seem to participate but I do look in.
Thanks for bringing this out, Junying!
Yes, I know, Dannie. Eri works tirelessly and some of us do our bits to support her, as she supports us all
Despite your slow internet connection, you come and check in here regularly – really appreciate your support and friendship. Take care, my friend
