My Trans-Continental Tour Is Still On (3) – Interviews, Reviews, Guest Posts & Give-aways

What an amazing journey so far!

My tour has taken me far and wide in the cyberworld – due to my writer’s vivid imagination and my developed, keen sense of seeing the world through the eyes of the people I meet, I feel that I have physically been to all the stops en-route, without jet lag or related travel cost :)

On Monday, my hostess,  Katy Sozaeva, yes, here she is again, set up a one-week giveaway, during which time three lucky winners will win a copy of Land of Hope. Please visit Katy Sozaeva now and enter for your chance for a fab read.

I am not trying to boast about my new book, but so far it has received truly great reviews – the overwhelmingly positive feedback even took me by surprise, leading to utter delight. Just  read what Mariam Kobras said on GoodReads about Land of Hope: It’s a crime story that feels as British and comfortable as a Midsomer Murder episode. It’s an international thriller that reminds of a Bourne movie, and it’s a beautiful, and very atmospheric insight into life in China, both in the past and the present.

From Katy’s Georgian home, I flew over to Virginia to be ‘reunited’ with one of the most beautiful, sexy and popular authors, also a dear friend Lisa M Stull, who has interviewed me not once, but twice – In turn, I have had the pleasure of welcoming this stunning  Thirty Something Girl to my site. Please pop over to her fabulous site and join our chat about character conception, editing and finding your voice :) You may even learn the weirdest unknown fact about me following Lisa’s probing questions.

Following a little break today, I head East tomorrow to New York, where I’ll join another author friend Matt Posner, the creator of  School of the Ages series. This is the man who labeled me a “Multicultural Icon” when we first met for a chat last year. I know that his wife Julie is a fan of my books and Land of Hope is on her reading list :) Through Matt I will introduce to you one of the characters from my book and his nickname is ‘Lunatic Wang’.

Ideally, I would have liked to hang around in the Big Apple with my friends, especially since New York has been on my travel destinations for a long time. However, duty calls – I am scheduled to meet J J Collins back in the UK on Friday. Jason is an Indie Author, Blogger and Political Commentator, who has written books on American History and Politics. For my book tour, he has reviewed my new release. If you can’t wait for another day, you can pop in to his site now, as his review is already up and running. I was deeply touched when he told me that he had spent a whole afternoon and evening being sucked in by the characters from Land of Hope, without food, just tea. His first-rate review would show just how much he has enjoyed it and how highly he thought of it. I think I owe him a meal, don’t you?

On Saturday, back on the road again and this time I’m stopping at Jean Brown’s virtual home in North Carolina – America is turning out to be the most popular and most hospitable country on earth, as far as my tour is concerned :) At Jean’s stop, you’ll find out what is the most difficult in my writing process and what’s the easy part, and perhaps even a tip or two :)

My last stop of this week will be in London with one of my favourite erotica writers, a native Chinese author, whose work I LOVE. She shares my cultural heritage and a ‘common language’. Be sure to join me when I speak with  Vanessa Wu - she goes behind the surface and asks the most challenging questions.

Please pop in to any of the links below and see what you can find :)
